CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor to join our Video Post-Production team in Warsaw and elevate the cinematic storytelling in our trailers, gameplay reveals, dev diaries, and marketing campaigns across our games and franchises.

In this role, you'll work directly with Brand and Creative Directors, Producers, Motion Designers, Audio Specialists, and Game Capture Artists to push the creative boundaries of high-impact promotional content. With a high degree of creative independence, you'll translate strategic direction into compelling, emotionally resonant edits that help shape the visual identity of our IPs and leave a lasting impression on players worldwide.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Independently craft, edit, and iterate on high-visibility promotional assets, including cinematic trailers, teasers, gameplay reveals, dev diaries, behind-the-scenes content, and paid media, shaping narrative structure, pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.
  • Collaborate directly with Brand and Creative Directors, Producers, and Video leadership to translate high-level marketing briefs into actionable editorial treatments, structure proposals, shot lists, and mood boards.
  • Work closely with Game Capture Artists to develop gameplay sequences, define shot lists, and refine capture requirements, occasionally capturing or prototyping gameplay sequences firsthand.
  • Guide projects through the full post-production pipeline, ensuring seamless integration of live-action footage, motion design, color grading, sound design, and music. Oversee versioning for different formats, global distribution channels, platforms, and localized markets.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet industry standards, platform requirements, delivery codecs, and color and audio specifications, while maintaining organized project archives and asset pipelines.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline internal editing workflows and post-production tools, while mentoring less experienced Video Artists through constructive feedback, creative reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in video editing, trailer production, entertainment marketing, or high-end advertising, with a proven track record of independently delivering complex, high-visibility projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software, such as DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Exceptional sense of narrative structure, pacing, visual composition, continuity, and cinematic storytelling.
  • Working knowledge of color correction and grading (DaVinci Resolve), motion graphics and compositing (After Effects), and sound design and mixing fundamentals.
  • Thorough understanding of the end-to-end video production pipeline, including pre-production, live-action shoots, post-production, finishing, codecs, and localization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present creative ideas to different stakeholders, propose alternative editorial solutions, and incorporate feedback.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Genuine passion for video games, cinema, and the CD PROJEKT RED universes.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working in a video game studio or on high-profile gaming marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with real-time capture pipelines or game engines, such as Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with on-set live-action production and camera operation.

Please include a link to your portfolio or showreel showcasing examples of video content you've created.
