Hyperhug
Hyperhug is a Cyprus-based games studio that both develops and publishes, with the survival game Oxide: Survival Island as its flagship title.
The studio works on both sides of a release: it develops its own titles and publishes games, which puts development, live operation and audience work under one roof. Its best-known title is a survival game, a genre that lives on long-running updates rather than on a single launch.
That shape explains the kind of roles the studio hires for. Alongside development, a game that keeps running needs player support, community work and operations, and those jobs sit next to the team building the next update rather than in a separate service company.
