Abstraction

Co-development studio in Eindhoven that builds parts of other studios' games and adapts finished titles to further platforms.

Abstraction works as a development partner rather than on its own titles: the studio takes over parts of a production for the company that owns the game, and ports finished games to further platforms. Its credits include Dune: Awakening, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Baldur's Gate 3.

The studio also offers full-cycle development, and names Funcom, 343 Industries, Larian, Devolver Digital and Paradox Interactive among the companies it has worked for. It is based in Eindhoven.
