Artex Software GmbH

Publisher and co-development partner in Frankfurt for small and starting independent teams, founded by industry veterans.

Artex Software works with small and starting independent developers: it publishes their games and supports them during production, from planning and design through to visibility and distribution. The team describes itself as small and made up of industry veterans, and it is based at the Frankfurt Games Hub.

It was founded by Jan Klose, co-founder of Deck13 Interactive and its indie label Spotlight, and Helge Borgarts, formerly of Blue Byte Software and Phenomedia. Its own release is the multiplayer game American Cooking Simulator.
