Devoted Studios
Devoted Studios is a distributed production company for game development: co-development, ports and art production carried out for the studios that own the titles.
Devoted Studios takes on parts of other companies' productions rather than developing its own games. The three lines of work are co-development, porting a finished game to further platforms, and art production, and its credits appear in titles released by other publishers.
The company has worked this way since 2018 and operates as a distributed organisation spread across many countries, with a freelance network alongside its permanent staff. Roles here usually mean working inside a client's pipeline and to a client's art direction, with remote collaboration as the normal mode rather than the exception.
