Paradox Interactive

Paradox Interactive develops and publishes strategy and management games from Södermalm in Stockholm. Alongside publishing, the group runs five studios: Paradox Development Studio in Stockholm, Triumph Studios in Delft, Haemimont Games in Sofia, Iceflake Studios in Tampere and Paradox Tinto in Barcelona.

Its franchises include Europa Universalis, Crusader Kings, Hearts of Iron, Victoria, Stellaris, Age of Wonders, Prison Architect and the Surviving games; the company also holds the World of Darkness brand catalogue. These titles are supported with expansions for years after release, which shapes the work: much of it is building on top of a game that already has a committed player base.
