Sumo Digital

Founded in 2003, Sumo Digital grew out of a team that had worked on console titles before, and it has spent most of its life as a development partner: publishers bring a project, Sumo builds it or a large part of it. That work spans genres rather than specialising in one, which is unusual for a studio of this size.

Several studios belong to the group, and projects are often staffed across them. Working here therefore means production alongside a client's expectations and milestones, with the breadth that comes from a portfolio built on other people's franchises as well as original work.
