The Artistocrats

The Artistocrats work from Hasselt and make their own strategy titles. The studio grew out of modding and hobby development and started professional work in early 2012; its first game, Order of Battle: World War II, a turn-based wargame, came out in April 2015.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command followed in 2022, a real-time strategy game set in the film franchise, which the studio calls one of the best-selling RTS titles on Steam that year. Work continues on DLC for it and on unannounced projects. The team is small, so roles in art, design and engineering reach across the whole production rather than into one narrow slice of it.
