Prompt Engineer
Builds the prompts and model pipelines that produce usable material for a game production, and keeps the output on style.
A Prompt Engineer works on the generation side of a production: which model, which prompt, which parameters, and how the result gets into a form the team can actually use. In art pipelines that means image models and the retouching that follows, so these postings ask for diffusion tools alongside an image editor. In text and tooling pipelines it means wiring models into existing systems, which is why scripting in Python keeps appearing.
The craft is repeatability rather than a single good result. A production needs output that matches an established style across hundreds of assets, so the work involves reference sets, seeds and parameter sheets, review steps against the style guide, and documentation other people can follow. Questions of rights and training data belong to the role as well.
This is not the same as an AI Programmer or AI Engineer: those build the behaviour of characters inside the game. A Prompt Engineer works on the production side, closer to an artist or tools role than to gameplay code.
