QA Analyst

A QA analyst looks at quality as data: which bugs cluster where, what a crash report says about a build, and whether the thing a team worries about is the thing actually hurting players.

The role sits between testing and analysis. Crash and error reporting, test results, bug databases and player reports all produce numbers, and someone has to turn them into a statement a team can act on: which area is regressing, which device or configuration is responsible, whether a fix held.

Day to day that means reproducing and triaging issues properly, keeping the bug database honest enough to be queried, and writing up what the data shows without overstating it. A clean reproduction path is worth more than a long description, and a trend nobody can verify is worth nothing.

A QA Tester finds problems by playing. A QA Manager decides how the effort is aimed. The analyst is the one asking what the accumulated findings add up to.
