French studio founded in 2010 that develops and self-publishes casual HTML5 games for browsers, mobile, smart TVs and in-car screens, with a production studio in Mauritius.
Playtouch develops casual games in HTML5 and publishes them itself. The catalogue covers puzzle, arcade, match-3, card, sports and racing games, and runs in a browser as well as on phones, tablets, PCs, smart TVs and in-car screens.
The company was founded in 2010 and states that it has produced more than 400 original titles entirely in house. Its headquarters are in Roquefort-les-Pins in southern France; the production studio has been in Grand Baie, Mauritius, since 2015.
Alongside its own releases, the studio licenses its games to third parties, builds white-label game portals and app stores, and takes on custom projects. It also works on transmedia titles such as Marcel Pagnol: Le Jeu and IN LOVE: Stories You Play.
