Unity
Unity is asked for across disciplines: C# gameplay and tools code, art and UI integration, and the build pipeline that gets a title onto mobile, web and console.
On the programming side the engine means C# scripting, the component model, addressables, profiling and the editor extensions a team works in. On the art side it means asset import, materials and prefabs, scene memory budgets, and shader work where the renderer is pushed past its defaults. Animation and UI integration belong to the same job.
What the requirement really describes is the combination around it. Version control sits next to the engine without exception; environment art and Substance Painter appear where the role is visual; analytics, remote config and store SDKs appear where the title is a live service.
Unreal Engine is the other engine of this size, and the line between them is not the platform. Unity earns its place where one small team ships to many devices at once, and where iteration speed matters more than renderer ceiling.
